Volumes of light

Roof light feature voids are like vertical connections and there is a movement between natural light and artificial light.  We can articulate circulation through lighting systems that branch from the centralized visual magnets.  However, there is an opportunity to use these series of voids as a sequential volumes of light an attractor that can stimulate the flow of pedestrian movement along a spine of features.

Creative use of lighting locations and lighting controls, we can create transitions and symbiotic relationships from centre to edge and vice versa through careful detailing that creates layering and compartmentalizing the lighting feature.

·         Cool to warm shades of white light

·         Saturation to desaturation of colour

·         Architectural to feature object

The lighting feature can be expressed as a standalone element or it can become contextual and architectural within its setting and surroundings.
